S&TS 349 Final Project

S&TS 349 is a 3 credit undergraduate course at Cornell University. The Final Project for the course requires students to analyze a form of media using that media. In my case I'm using a blog to look at Microsoft's use of blogs in terms of communicating facts, fostering innovation, and building community.

This is a one man project.

I (Mike Padula) am a Cornell University employee participating in the course as part of the Employee Degree Program. This course represents 3 of the remaining 6 credits I need for my degree in Communication with a focus in Computer Information Systems.

I am not seeking to discredit anything that any organization or individual is doing. I am simply seeking to explore what's taking place with respect to the use of blogs by Microsoft, Microsoft employees, and/or people affiliated with Microsoft.
